If you don't know who I am, or what I did, it's not important anymore.

I quit the Society for Creative Anachronism at the start of 2003, rather than devote the rest of my adult life to trying to fix it's organisational problems; generally to do with the social backlash that arises from having an appointed beaurocracy. I'm not going to bother with justifying this, because either you're already nodding your head, or your don't think there's anything wrong with this and can't be persuaded otherwise.

Anyway, I like it on the outside. While I may visit again someday, I'm not coming back (although there seems to be a tendancy for SCA people to think that it's inevitable). I've discovered that I have much better things to do.

However, it wasn't a complete waste of time. I made things and did things, I had fun (mostly at the start) and met some interesting people. One of the things I did was a make a gorget pattern, and since it isn't published anywhere else, you can get it here. Let me know if you want to republish it.
