This makes use of the diode detector prviously described to activate a signal system. It uses a tri-LED (3 leads, center common) to signal both ends of the block (single line) The diodes in the circuits are to isolate the external inputs from the relay voltages.
The circuit provides an interlock to a previous signal and accepts an interlock from  the other block signals to make a yellow aspect by powering the Red LED when the Green one is on (block clear but next block occupied)
Switches on the points motors in the block can also be used to signal opposing points or a junction condition.
A useful sigalling method but not designed to any prototype system. However it provides a simple indication of train movement that helps give realism to the layout.
