This Booster is described by Rutger Friberg in his bonus project No.1 related to book No. 4, plus it has
a feedback module. It uses a common stepper motor driver, the L 298 H-bridge. This has 2 parallel H-bridges and the NMRAF 7 circuit gives the option of using them for track drive or connecting one for use as a programming track. If you however run both H-bridges in parallel it will give you a booster with 6 A output capacity, with the right power transformer. Added to the circuit is a simple feedback from the booster to indicate overload or a "job complete" signal from the programming logic of the decoder.
