Mini-DCC Controller This simple booster was designed to be supplied by the mini-dcc controller - a link is on the right,
using the L298 stepper motor driver which can supply up to 4 amps. But not intended for this much current in this circuit where only one half of the device is used. Power supply is 12 to 16 volots AC and could be from a plug-pack type transformer. This is regulated to supply 5 volts to the controller circuit. Over current is sensed on the 0.47 ohm resistor and this drops the enable input to the driver, pin 10.
