Hi, I was born at 3:09 am on 30/9/2004.
My parents Darren and Raewyn had planned a nice simple birth for me at the maternity annex of Tauranga Hospital.
However things didn't turn out as planned when my head got stuck and I needed to be delivered by an emergency Caesarean section. Nobody was happy about that, including me!

Because my mum's epidural didn't work like it was supposed to she needed a general anesthetic. That meant she didn't get to see my birth which was a shame, but my dad still got to cut my cord as planned.
I weighed in at 4.3kg.

I needed to stay in special care for a while to make sure I was ok.

But by the end of the day everything had been sorted out and everyone was much happier.

By day two mum felt well enough to hold me.

By day three we had all settled into a comfortable routine.

This is me on day four looking even cuter than before.

On day six mum and I went home. My car seat felt a bit strange at first.

But I soon got the hang of it.

Its good to be home!

I sleep better at home,

in fact I can sleep almost anywhere!

I don't sleep all the time

Because lots of people want to meet me

But everybody needs a nap now and then...

...so they can tackle the big jobs feeling refreshed!
I'm enjoying seeing new things...

...and my Dad says I may have a future in action movies! What is The Matrix?

So I'm practising my press-ups...

Don't worry about the wires, they'll be hidden using special effects...

Like this:
Now, for all those grandmothers out there who have been wondering what I've been up to lately...
I've been growing...

and growing...

helping Dad do some decorating...

keeping up with current events... (isn't it shocking how commercial Christmas is!)

and sleeping with a beautiful woman... (gasp!)
