An Act to amend the Law relating to Public Health.

Clauses
1. Short Title
   "The Public Health Act 1872"

2. Commencement of Act
   This Act, except as hereinafter expressly provided, shall
   come into operation on 1 Nov 1872, which date is herein
   referred to as the commencement of this Act.

3. Provisions as to appointments. Rules when to commence.
   The provisions of this Act relating to the making appointments
   and regulations, the constitution of Boards and districts,
   shall come into operation on the passing of this Act.

4. Division of Act.

   Part II: Central and Local Boards of Health, ss. 6-45
   Part III: Quarantine, ss. 46-87
   Part IV: Vaccination, ss. 88-120
