A letter written, 3 Feb 1931, to Mrs Elsie YOUNG from Napier 
during the earthquake. After introductory pleasantries there is 
an abrupt break in the letter as the earthquake struck. 
Thereafter follows a short account of the seismic activity and 
its effects on the writer and her family and including the 
devastation of the surrounding town.
