Sacred to the memory of Gaynam son of George and Mary Rackstraw who
died the 12th of January 1800 aged 17 years. Also Mary Bumstead
Woolley daughter of the above wife of George Woolley (of London) died
the 27th of January 1801 aged 24 years. Near this place lie the two
sons and two daughters of the above George and Mary Rackstraw. Also
Mary Ann daughter of the above died January the 7th 1802 aged 14
months. Likewise the above George Rackstraw who died the 22nd of June
1804 aged 50 years. Also Mr Philip Bumstead who died the 24th of
November 1806 aged 82 years. Likewise Mrs Bennett Bumstead wife of
the above Mr Philip Bumstead died May the 28th in the year 1813
aged 92 years.

Sacred to the Memory of Philip Jeremiah Rackstraw who died the 10th
of September 1812 aged 32 years.
Mary Wilson Rackstraw wife of the late George Rackstraw died March
25th 1823 aged 68 years. Also Josiah Wise Rackstraw son of the above
Mary Wilson and George Rackstraw who died January 1st 1839 aged
48 years. Ann Rackstraw wife of Benjamin George Rackstraw died
September 19th 1847 aged 62 years. Benjamin George Rackstraw died
October 19th 1847 aged 59 years.

I Philip Bumstead of Gravesend in the County of Kent being of perfect
mind and ... thanks be given unto God calling into mind the mortality
of the Body and knowing that is appointed unto all ... sure to die ...
make and ... this my last will and testament that is to say first of
all I give and ... my soul into the hands of Almighty that gave it my
body ... to the Earth to be buried in ... Christian Burial at the
discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but I shall ... same again
by the Almighty power of God and as ... my wordly estate wherewith it
hath pleased God to bless me with in this life. I give devise and
dispose of the same in the following manner and form
First I give and bequeath to John Bumstead Rackstraw to Benjamin
Rackstraw to Josiah Wise Rackstraw to Bennet Rackstraw and to Jane
Rackstraw sons and daughters to the late George Rackstraw of Gravesend
each and severally of them the sum of 100 pounds of good and lawful
money of Great Britain to be raised and levied out of my Estate which
sums are to be placed in the public funds in the above names from the
fund of my ... and to be paid to the above mentioned with the ...
arising therefrom by my Executors hereinafter named when they shall
severally arrive at the age of twenty one years but if it shall please
God that any of them shall die before the do arrive at the age of
twenty one years then his her or their part or parts shall be equally
divided amongst the survivors. Also
I give to Bennett my dearly beloved wife all the ... arising from the
remaining part of my Estate firstly to use the same during her natural
life but not to dispose of any part of the principal also after the
decease of Bennett my dearly beloved wife
I give and bequeath to my well beloved son and daughter John Bumstead
and Mary Wilson Rackstraw whom I likewise constitute make and ordain
Executors to this my last Will and Testament the whole of my Estate
Goods Effects and Debts to ... any where belonging equally to be
divided between them and by them to be firstly possessed and enjoyed
and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and dis... all and every other
former testaments wills ... bequests and Executors by me in any wise
before named willed and bequeathed ratifying and reaffirming this and
no other to be my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I leave
hereunto ... my hand and seal this eighth day of September in the year
of our Lord eighteen hundred and four ... the mark of Philip Bumstead
Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Philip
Bumstead as his last will and testament in the presence of us the
subscribers Richard STARBUCK and William MADDOCKS
This Will was proved at London the tenth day of December eighteen
hundred and six before the Worshipful ... Doctor of Laws and Surrogate
of the Right Honourable Sir William ... Knight also Doctor of Laws ...
or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury constituted by
the oaths of John Bumstead the son of the deceased and Mary Wilson
Rackstraw widow the daughter of the deceased and the Executors named
in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and singular
the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased they having been
first sworn duly to administer.
