Vaccination Bill

On the motion for going into Committee to further
consider this Bill,-
Mr CREIGHTON moved that the Bill be discharged.

Mr BARFF would be glad to hear some reasons given
why the Bill should be discharged. Those honorable
members who did not understand the principle of the
Bill, should allow other honorable members to
consider it. The Bill had been prepared with a
considerable amount of care, and would work very
beneficially. It was essentially necessary that a
Bill of some kind should be passed through the House.
Although honorable members were desirous of returning
to their homes, they should not do such an injustice
as to throw out this Bill.

Question put, "That the Bill be discharged," upon
which a division was called for, with the following
result:-
  Ayes 20
  Noes 12
  Majority for 8
