Persons Of Note
These are characters of importance in Lodinag and other Domains
The Inspired are omitted from this list.
- Ragnar, Urgamish human, long-suffering Seneschal
- Philetas, youngest brother of the Baron. He is quiet and manipulative and has been deformed since birth.
- Sir Scame, a new created knight. An Urgamish human and previously leader
of the Baron's bodyguard. He was awarded the lands that previously belonged
to Clifford in return for services to the Baron.
- Jurgen, Urgamish human, Sir Clifford's younger brother.
- Sir Heraque, Urgamish ogre, one of the Baron's vassals
- Sir Alphonse, Urgamish spriggan, one of the Baron's vassals
- Sir Magan, Urgamish ogre, one of the Baron's vassals
- (DECEASED) Pharos, brother of the Baron and heir. He was vain, charismatic and
ambitious. After leading an unsuccessful rebellion, he is now dead.
- (DECEASED) Sir Clifford, Urgamish human, a young knight. He was not much of an
intellectual and enjoys hunting, gambling and drinking. After leading an
unsuccessful rebellion, he is now dead.

- Rostof, minotaur from Abysm, the Baron's Executioner
- Gickler, Urgamish spriggan, merchant and sometime dancer trader of
Blackrock. An Eclipsist of modest talent.
- Dalik Springer, Urgamish human, potman at the Poacher & Swan.
- Pukka Throog, Urgamish ogre, ex-mercenary. Lost a leg in battle and now
begs and labours in Aghaba.
- Dorcas, Priestess of the River Lady. Makes her home at the main shrine
in Aghaba.
- Guaros, an ogre labourer and wrestler from Aghaba.
- Feneous, a youth from outside town who was murdered by draaken during
the festival of the River Lady in 1450.
- Liessa, a young woman tormented by draaken during the festival of the
River Lady 1450.
- Elise, a young woman tormented by draaken during the festival of the
River Lady 1450.
- Emmantine, a pale woman who has taken up residence in Aghaba.
- Adelph, a young boy tempted by the Masque and bearing a strong Flame.
Currently residing in Lodinag while awaiting the Decan Council's decision
upon his disposition.
- Prodigal, spriggan tutor. Formerly tutor to Jerialdo and Bellin in
Andride, now taking refuge in Lodinag.
The Baron's Bodyguard
The Baron's bodyguard consists of five excellent and loyal soldiers, and is
led by Morn.
- Asphen, Urgamish Human, talented scout
- Burlag, Urgamish ogre, not the sharpest
- Uther, Urgamish ogre, über-badass
- Wledig, Urgamish spriggan, scout and prankster
- Gromnar, Urgamish human, badass

Aghaba Garrison
- (DECEASED) Charrock of Abysm, minotaur, ex-bandit and ex-mercenary.
Executed for treachery in Pharos and Clifford's failed rebellion.
Blackrock Garrison
- Corporal Lugen, Urgamish ogre, commander of Blackrock garrison
Lodinag Patrol
- Sergeant Berrell, Urgamish human, Commander of the Baron's patrol squad.
Sydrin's People
- Hoyissa, Urgamish human, Sydrin's handmaiden.
- Carmoon, Urgamish ogre, Sydrin's page. He is an orphan that Sydrin took
in.
- Kallistus, Sydrin's aunt and mistress of their estate. A rather arrogant
old lady.
- Nihope, Sydrin's mother and previous adviser to the Barony. Clever and
calculating.
- Kaplo, Nihope's consort. Father of her daughters (presumably).
- Casto, Sydrin's first sister. She has a reputation for a nasty temper.
It has been rumoured that she has done away with lovers who displeased her,
but nobody in particular (just someone your brother-in-law heard about from
his friend at the Poacher & Swan).
- Ogranis, Sydrin's brother.
- Harmonia, Sydrin's second sister.
- Peloi, Urgamish dwarf, estate steward for Kallistus.
Ornis' People
- Coomer, Urgamish ogre, even more long-suffering manservant to the Baron

Itaren's People
- Banks, dwarf merchant. Itaren's young cousin, assists in the business.
Like Itaren, he hails from a dwarven village in the mountains. He is
ambitious and innovative (thus his migration to Urgamand, or at least away
from the coservative mountain village.
Go's People
- Captain (retired) Jaime Winnow, the previous Master-of-Arms in Lodinag.
She recruited and trained Go. She had to retire dur to persistent gout. She
has a pension from the Baron and a small farm outside Lodinag.
Others in Urgamand
- Sir Kallan, a human knight of the Barony of Greenhills.
- Haflar, Eclipsist of Lorgol. A visitor to the festival of the River-Lady
in 1450.
- Lord Lucerelle, Baron of Cagarak.
Domain of Andride
These people came up in the story "The Lords of Mean-mist" in spring 1450.
- Lord Manansome, Baron of Andride. He makes his home in a Remain of the
Flamboyance in his main town of Mean-mist. He recently annexed a forest that
has historically been the course of much conflict between the Baronies.
- Lady Ariel, Manansome's wife
- Jerialdo, Manansome's eldest son
- Bellin, Manasome's second son
- Karos, a knight in the service of Lord Manansome.
- Ocyan, cloth merchant and father of Adelph
- Meboden, librarian at Manansome's mansion.
- Farolf, Manansome's steward.
Foreign Types
- Hazrah bin Fessah, satyr merchant of Keshe. A charming man who has had
much success in affairs of the... ahem... heart while visiting Lodinag (and,
by his accounts, many other places).
- Xie-shu, Princean human, an apothecary's apprentice.
- Kaldinh, satyr merchant of Keshe. Unfortunately attempted to buy wood
that both Ornis and Manansome believed that they owned. Events in Mean-mist
precluded his purchase and he presumably lost rather a lot of money.
Villains
- Galfoih, human Invoker and ex-bandit leader. Previously the leader of a
vicious group of bandits who caused some trouble for Lodinag, he was forced
to flee using demonic aid when his camp was attacked by the Baron's forces.
- Monsieur X, another chap you would be well to defeat, when you discover
his identity.
- Sir Y, someone you will meet in due course.
