Are You Saved?

Are you saved? Not sure!
If you want to find out more, check it out.

You will find it is the best thing you have ever done for yourself!

God sent Jesus to be the way back to Himself by having Him die on the Cross at Calvary. (Matt 20:17-19, 28)

But on the third day, Jesus was raised to life again - (Matt 28:1-10, 16-20) so that all who believe in Him will also be raised to life again. (John 11:25, 26)

Jesus says this,
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; the only way to the Father is through Me." John 14:6

And this is our invitation from Jesus;

"Come to Me, all of you
who are tired
and have heavy loads,
and I will give you rest.
Accept My teachings
and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit,
and you will find rest
for your lives.
The teaching that I ask you to accept is easy; the load I give you to carry is light."
Matt 11:28-30

THE WORD

John Chapter 1, verses 1-4

1 In the beginning there was the Word.
The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 All things were made by Him, and nothing was made without Him.
4 In Him there was life, and that life was the light of all people.

God's Plan

Ephesians 1:11
11 In Christ we were chosen to be God’s people,
because from the very beginning God had decided this in keeping with His plan.
And He is the One who makes everything agree with what He decides and wants.

Rom 8:28-30
28We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him.
They are the people he called, because that was his plan.
29God knew them before he made the world,
and he decided that they would be like his Son
so that Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers.
30God planned for them to be like his Son;
and those he planned to be like his Son, he also called;
and those he called, he also made right with him;
and those he made right, he also glorified.

Acts 2:22-24
22 22 “People of Israel, listen to these words:
Jesus from Nazareth was a very special man.
God clearly showed this to you by the miracles, wonders, and signs he did through Jesus.
You all know this, because it happened right here among you.
23 Jesus was given to you, and with the help of those who don’t know the law,
you put him to death by nailing him to a cross.
But this was God’s plan which he had made long ago;
he knew all this would happen.
24 God raised Jesus from the dead and set him free
from the pain of death, because death could not hold him.

Luke 7:29, 30
29 When the people, including the tax collectors, heard this,
they all agreed that God’s teaching was good,
because they had been baptized by John.
30 But the Pharisees and experts on the law refused to
accept God’s plan for themselves; they did not let John baptize them.

Luke 9:28-31
28About eight days later Jesus took Peter, James, and John to a mountain to pray.
29And as he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothing became dazzling white.
30Then two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared and began talking with Jesus.
31They were glorious to see. And they were speaking of how he was about to fulfill God’s plan by dying in Jerusalem.

Luke 22:22
22For I, the Son of Man, must die since it is part of God’s plan.

Spiritual Blessings

Ephesians 1:4-14
4 Long ago, even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
5 His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave him great pleasure.
6 So we praise God for the wonderful kindness he has poured out on us because we belong to his dearly loved Son.
7 He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven.
8 He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
9 God’s secret plan has now been revealed to us; it is a plan centered on Christ, designed long ago according to his good pleasure.
10 And this is his plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.
11 Furthermore, because of Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us from the beginning, and all things happen just as he decided long ago.
12 God’s purpose was that we who were the first to trust in Christ should praise our glorious God.
13 And now you also have heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.
14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us everything he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious God.

God’s Secret Plan Revealed

Ephesians 3:1-7
1 I, Paul, am a prisoner of Christ Jesus because of my preaching to you Gentiles.
2 As you already know, God has given me this special ministry of announcing his favor to you Gentiles.
3 As I briefly mentioned earlier in this letter, God himself revealed his secret plan to me.
4 As you read what I have written, you will understand what I know about this plan regarding Christ.
5 God did not reveal it to previous generations, but now he has revealed it by the Holy Spirit to his holy apostles and prophets.
6 And this is the secret plan: The Gentiles have an equal share with the Jews in all the riches inherited by God’s children. Both groups have believed the Good News, and both are part of the same body and enjoy together the promise of blessings through Christ Jesus.
7 By God’s special favor and mighty power, I have been given the wonderful privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.

Ephesians 3:14-17
14 (Paul talking) When I think of the wisdom and scope of God’s plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.
16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit.
17 And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love.

Ephesians 4:11-13
11And Christ gave gifts to people - he made some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to go and tell the Good News, and some to have the work of caring for and teaching God's people.
12Christ gave those gifts to prepare God's holy people for the work of serving, to make the body of Christ stronger.
13This work must continue until we are all joined together in the same faith and in the same knowledge of the Son of God.

Revelations 10:7
7 When the seventh angel blows his trumpet,
God’s mysterious plan will be fulfilled.
It will happen just as he announced it to his servants the prophets.”
