On every Vorb ride hundreds of photos are taken with expensive, professional quality cameras. After the film has been lovingly developed by highly trained professionals an excruitiating selection process is gone through before the winning photos are digitally rendered by advanced NASA scanning technology and posted on this site.

(OK, I admit it - I have a camera I bought for $40 about 10 years ago which is doesn't break when you drop it (unlike that nice Ricoh - damnit) and is held together with duct tape. Occasionally I take it out and snap away at random. Lately my local pharmacy has been able to send my films away and put them onto CD at 900dpi - which is pretty damn cool.)
