Michael Harris is the principal of the Supreme Dance Centre. Michael
danced
competitively dancing for eight years in Ballroom, Latin American and New Vogue
styles.In 2001 Michael turned professional and
began teaching. In 2002 he became principal at Supreme Dance.
He has qualified at the Fellowship level in Ballroom &
Latin American and Membership level in New Vogue professional theory qualifications
with the New
Zealand Federation of Dance Teachers (NZFDT). Michael is now working on his
Fellows New Vouge qualification. Michael is a qualified scrutineer with The New
Zealand Society of Scrutineers.
Michael is also the Spokesperson and Webmaster for the Wellington
branch of the NZFDT. The branch runs 3 regional competitions and nationals
(once every 3 years).
Last year Michael was Chairperson of Adjudicators at the 2008 & 2009 DanceSport
Nationals.
Shona Dowden has been dancing 20 years and has
just turned professional in 2006.
Shona has joined a very elite position in
dancing having completed her Oscar
Medals in Ballroom, Latin American and New Vogue.
Shona has just passed her Associate Ballroom
qualification and is now working on her Associate Latin qualification.
