Couples and individuals take private
lessons for many different reasons. A one to one teaching environment is ideal for
achieving a higher level of technique, understanding of dance, and particularly for better
styling and feeling in your dancing.You may want to learn only one specific dance,
perhaps for a special occasion. In a private lesson we will focus on the details you want
to learn.
Private lessons can also offer you the chance to polish what you have learned in the
group classes and move a few steps ahead. If our group class times do not suit your
schedule, private lessons are the perfect way to get started.
Whatever your reason, private lessons will definitely be of great benefit to your
dancing.
Private lessons are available by appointment
on:
- Tuesday evenings at Tawa
- Saturday evenings at St. Andrews Church Hall
- Sunday afternoons, Monday evening and Wednesday evening at
Island Bay
Unfortunately, St. Andrews is úsually pre-booked.

Cancellations
Cancellation must be made 24 hours prior to the lesson or the full fee will be
charged. Cancellations must be done either in person or by phone.
