Sunday Services

There is a more traditional Holy Communion service in the church at 9:00 am, and a Modern Worship service in the Community Centre at 10:30 am, followed by a light lunch for those who wish to stay.

Midweek Services

There is a Holy Communion service on Tuesday at 9:00 am and Wednesday at 10:00 am in the church.

Morning Prayer

Morning prayer is held on Thursday and Friday at 9:00 am.

Rest Home Services

Short Holy Communion services are held for residents in rest homes within our parish. These are held at the following times:

  • Norman Kirk Home - third Thursday of the month at 10:30am in the chapel;
  • Fergusson Rest Home - third Thursday of the month at 11:15 am, also the first Sunday of the month at 11:00am, in the Rainbow Lounge Chapel;
  • Summerset hospital - third Thursday of the month at 2:00 pm in the Hospital Lounge;
  • Benhaven Rest Home - third Wednesday of the month at 3:00 pm in the lounge.

Easter Services 2011

Maundy Thursday (Thursday 21 April):

 6:30pm : Seder Meal in the Community Centre followed by Footwashing and Communion. All welcome.

Good Friday (Friday 22 April):

12 Noon: Family drama - gather on the lych-gate path. Experience the capture, trial and crucifixion of Jesus followed by Hot Cross buns in the Community Centre.
1:15 to 3:00 pm: Reflections in the Church.

Easter Day (Sunday 24 April):

 8:30am: Holy Communion service in the Church.
9:45 am: Parish Breakfast in the Community Centre
10:30 am: Family Communion Service in the Community Centre.
