·               Henrietta Heath born about 1813 in Ryde and christened 30 April 1820 at All Saints, Newchurch married Richard Taylor in 1839 at All Saints, Newchurch. Henrietta and Richard, a carpenter, were the parents of:

 

·               Henry Taylor born in Newchurch in 1839 and christened 1 March 1840 at St Thomas, Ryde married Martha Mew (born 12 May 1838 in Wootten, Isle of Wight, the daughter of John Mew and Martha Abraham) in 1863 at St George, Arreton;

·               Albert Taylor born in Newchurch in 1841 and christened 13 March 1842 at St Thomas, Ryde;

·               James Haysom Taylor born in Newchurch in 1845 and christened 20 July 1845 at St Thomas, Ryde; and

·               John Taylor born in Newchurch in 1846 and christened 26 May 1847 at St Thomas, Ryde died in 1847, aged 5 months.

 

Henrietta Taylor nee Heath died in Newchurch in 1847, aged 34 years. Richard Taylor died in Ryde in 1877, aged 66 years.

 

·               John Barlow Heath born about 1816 in Ryde and christened 30 April 1820 at All Saints, Newchurch died in Ryde and was buried 10 January 1834 at All Saints, Newchurch, aged 17 years.

Henry Heath was born about 1811 in Ryde, Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England and christened 30 April 1820 at All Saints, Newchurch, Isle of Wight, the son of John and Eliza Heath.

 

Henry married Caroline Salter (christened 15 July 1810 at St Helena’s, St Helen’s, Isle of Wight, the daughter of Thomas Salter and Sarah Sothcott) on 30 September 1833 at All Saints, Newchurch.

 

Henry, a shoemaker, and Caroline were the parents of:

 

·               Emma Heath born 7 August 1834 in Ryde, Isle of Wight and christened 14 September 1834 at Wesleyan, Newport, Isle of Wight married William Mew (christened 20 October 1833 at Holy Cross, Binstead, the son of James Mew and Jane Hayles) in 1858 in Binstead, Isle of Wight. Emma and William, a labourer, were the parents of:

 

·               Louisa Jane Mew born in Binstead and christened at St Thomas, Ryde on 29 May 1859 died in Binstead in 1869, aged 11 years;

·               William Henry Mew born in Binstead and christened 29 July 1860 at St Thomas, Ryde;

·               Martha Mew born in Binstead and christened 28 May 1861 at St Thomas, Ryde died in Binstead in 1862;

·               Charles Mew born 1862 in Binstead;

·               Samuel Mew born 1864 in Binstead died in 1869 in Binstead, aged 5 years;

·               Elizabeth Ann Mew born 1868 in Binstead and christened 23 June 1869 at Wesleyan, Ryde;

·               Henry Mew born 30 June 1870 in Binstead and christened 15 November 1870 at Wesleyan, Ryde; and

·               Rose Emily Mew born 1874 in Binstead.

 

William Mew died in Ryde in 1904, aged 70 years. Emma Mew nee Heath died in Ryde in 1912, aged 77 years.

 

·               Ellen Heath born 20 November 1835 and christened 31 January 1836 at West-Cowes, Wesleyan, Northwood, Isle of Wight died in Ryde, Isle of Wight in 1842, aged 6 years;

 

·               Elizabeth Heath born in 1837 in Ryde died at Ryde in 1839, aged 2 years;

 

·               Caroline Heath born in 1838 in Ryde and christened 10 February 1839 at Wesleyan, Newport died in Ryde in 1844, aged 5 years;

 

·               Esther Heath born in 1840 in Ryde married John Long in 1863 at St Mary, Carisbrooke, Isle of Wight. Esther and John had one known child, John Henry Long born 1863 in Newport. Nothing more is known about this branch of the family;

 

·               Jane Heath born in 1841 in Ryde and christened in 1842 at the Wesleyan, Newport married (1) Jacob Chiverton, (2) John Oliver, and (3) Michael Moore (more details below);

·               Samuel Heath born 26 December 1844 in Ryde;

 

·               Charles Heath born in 1846 in Ryde died in Ryde in 1846, aged 1 month;

 

·               George Heath (twin) born 20 February 1847 in Ryde;

 

·               Henry Heath (twin) born 20 February 1847 in Ryde died in March 1847 in Ryde, aged 3 weeks;

 

·               Betsy Ann Heath born 7 September 1848 in Carisbrooke, Newport and christened 1 February 1849 at Wesleyan, Newport;

 

·               Alfred Heath born in 1850 in Carisbrooke, Newport;

 

·               Unnamed Girl Heath born in 1851 in Newport died, aged 1 day;

 

·               Louisa Heath born in 1852 in Newport died in Newport in 1858, aged 6 years; and

Henry Heath died in Chillerton on 1 March 1860, aged 49 years, and was buried in Mount Joy Cemetery, Carisbrooke.

 

Caroline Heath nee Salter died in Chillerton on 10 June 1861, aged 51 years, and was buried in Mount Joy Cemetery, Carisbrooke.

Jane Heath was born in 1841 in Ryde, Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England, the sixth of sixteen children born to Henry Heath and Caroline Salter.

 

Jane married her first husband Jacob Chiverton in 1861 at St Peter’s, Shorwell, Isle of Wight.

 

Jane and Jacob had two children:

 

·               Harry Chiverton (twin) born 1862 in Godshill, Isle of Wight died in Godshill in 1862, aged 4 months; and

 

·               Elizabeth Chiverton (twin) born 1862 in Godshill, Isle of Wight died in Godshill in 1863, aged 5 months.

 

Jacob Chiverton died in 1864 in Godshill, Isle of Wight, aged 26 years.

 

Jane married her second husband John Oliver (born about 31 May 1841 in Westoe, South Shields, Co, Durham, the son of George Oliver and Rosanna Daglish) on 26 June 1870 at St James, Milton, Portsmouth, Hampshire.

 

Jane and John, a seaman, had one son:

 

·               George Henry Oliver born about 1875 in Portsmouth, Hampshire married Edith Kilgour on 18 June 1900 at St Jude’s, South Shields, Co. Durham.

 

John Oliver died prior to the 1881 Census.

 

Jane and her son George Henry were living in South Shields, Co. Durham at the time of the 1881 Census.

 

Jane’s third husband was widower Michael Moore of South Shields, Co. Durham whom she married about 1886 (they did not have any children).

 

Michael Moore died in South Shields, Co. Durham in 1907, aged 66 years.

 

Jane Chiverton Oliver Moore nee Heath died in South Shields, Co. Durham in 1825, aged 84 years.
