William and Elizabeth were the parents of:

 

  • Michael Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 28 March 1689 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge;

 

  • Mary Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 18 January 1691 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge;

 

  • Francis Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 29 December 1695 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge married Mary Bell on 11 June 1719 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge (more details below);

 

  • John Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 29 December 1695 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge;

 

  • Elizabeth Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 29 January 1699 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge;

Francis married Mary Bell on 11 June 1719 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge.

 

Francis and Mary were the parents of:

 

  • William Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 31 August 1720 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge married Jane Bennett on 3 October 1749 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge (more details below);

 

  • Richard Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 8 April 1722 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge;

 

  • Elizabeth Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 15 December 1726 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge;

 

  • Francis Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 20 August 1727 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge married Isabel Ramsay on 25 November 1755 at St John of Beverley, Acomb; and

 

  • John Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 30 November 1729 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge married Dorothy Proud on 26 June 1758 at St Michael’s, Warden.

 

Francis Davison died in Haydon Bridge and was buried on 11 June 1772 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge.

 

Mary Davison nee Bell died in Haydon Bridge and was buried on 12 May 1775 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge.

  • Robert Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 16 January 1763 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge; and

Francis married Magdalene Leonard on 12 June 1774 at St Michael’s, Warden.

 

Francis and Magdalene were the parents of:

 

  • William Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 26 March 1775 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge married Margaret Pearson on 27 January 1799 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge;

 

  • Jane Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 30 January 1780 at St Cuthbert’s, Allendale; and

 

  • Elizabeth Davison born in Haydon Bridge and christened 28 January 1781 at St Cuthbert’s, Allendale married Thomas Coulson on 11 November 1806 at St Giles, Chollerton (more details below).

 

Magdalene Davison nee Leonard died at Elrington in the parish of Haydon Bridge and was buried on 26 August 1783 at St Cuthbert’s, Haydon Bridge.

 

Francis Davison’s death/burial has not yet been located.

lizabeth Davison was born in Haydon Bridge and christened on 28 January 1781 at St Cuthbert’s, Allendale, the daughter of Francis Davison and Magdalene Leonard.

 

Elizabeth married Thomas Coulson (christened 25 July 1779 at St Giles, Chollerton, the son of Edward Coulson and Elizabeth Anderson) on 11 November 1806 at St Giles, Chollerton.

Elizabeth Coulson nee Davison died in Barrasford and was buried on 14 November 1858 at St Giles, Chollerton, aged 77 years.
