William Coulson & Sarah Price

William Coulson was born in Gunnerton, Northumberland, England and christened on 25 December 1769 at St Giles, Chollerton, the third child of Edward Coulson and Elizabeth Anderson.

William married Sarah Price of Blanchland (christened 12 April 1772 at St James, Hunstanworth, Co. Durham, the daughter of Robert Price) on 24 May 1794 at St Giles, Chollerton.

William, a mason, and Sarah were the parents of:

· Edward Coulson born in Gunnerton and christened 3 April 1796 at St Giles, Chollerton married Mary Fairless of Corbridge in 1844; and

· Robert Coulson born 4 September 1798 in Gunnerton and christened 23 September 1798 at St Giles, Chollerton.

William Coulson died in Gunnerton on 18 April 1799 and was buried on 20 April 1799 at St Giles, Chollerton, aged 30 years.

Sarah Coulson nee Price married Thomas Hubback on 3 August 1805 at St Giles, Chollerton.
