Spring Hill

Here's a collection of models brought to Spring Hill. They were built and flown by Colin Austen, visiting from the Hibiscus Coast.
Westland Lysander. Wingspan 11' 3''. Powered by 80cc Zenoah twin. Weighs 17.5 kg. Good handling.
The Beechcraft C45 spans 12'3" (1/4 scale). Took six years to scratch build.
Powered by two 62cc Zenoah engines. Weight is 34 kg. Handling is excellent.
The red jet is a non scale Borland designed Bullfrog. Powered by a Behotec 66 gas turbine. Clocked at 245 km hr.
Ready to rotate!.
Climb out.
Clean flypast.
Hey! Only one wheel has come down. Abort and go around.
