My name is Shane and I live in Reikorangi on the Kapiti Coast. Mistletoe Rabbits was established in 2001 shortly after the arrival of my first rabbit, a Black Dutch doe. To begin with I concentrated on just one breed, Dutch, but over the past couple of years I have added several other breeds to my shed; Standard Rex, Silver Fox, Standard Chinchilla, Polish, and Netherland Dwarfs.

27th September 2007. Waikato World Show, Hamilton. My u/5 Standard Chinchilla doe 'Mistletoe Peggy' wins 'Reserve Best in Show'.
27th September 2007. RCNZ North Island National, Hamilton. 'Mistletoe Jack', my young Netherland Dwarf buck wins 'Reserve Best in Show'.

HOME OF CHAMPIONS

On the 11th of August 2007 Mistletoe Shamus and Mistletoe Barnaby earned there final number of CCs required to become Champions.
This brings the total number of Champions here at Mistletoe to eight, of which seven were bred by myself:

Waiting in the wings are my Silver Fox does Mistletoe Dana (Gold Diploma)and Mistletoe Adeline each with 20 CCs under 6 judges, they need two more wins to become Champions.

RCNZ Champion Mistletoe Shamus won 'Best in Show' and 'Best Adult' at the RCNZ South Island National Show in June 2007. Silver Fox doe Mistletoe Dana came 'Second Runner-up' and 'Best U/5 months' at the same show
