By popular request I squirted some paint around......
Painted the seat and glareshield black, and added some stickers to the seat.
Big day for the cockpit too, I set time aside to plan and fly a serious "mission" in the 'pit. Took off from Ohakea, and flew low level across to Nelson, then down the West Coast to Greymouth, across the Alps to Christchurch for a touch and Go, then back up the East Coast, across the straits and back to Ohakea.  No1 discovery: I need a softer seat cusion!
For this flight I modified the HUD I am using, and added some pop-up navigation and radio tuning pages, as well as an APG-66 radar display...shame there was in AI flying the NZ skies :(

New HUD in operation, sitting on the ramp at Ohakea. A bit of paint and it looks completely different.  In the background is the projector on it's *very* agricultural mounting!
Looking over the top of the pit, again with the HUD working.  Despite the fact that it is *only* 800x600 the display is crisp and the HUD readable. Left side, with new paint and projector in place.
