NEWS: Version 3 is almost available! This is just a web site test, don't try to download anything yet! The first version posted here will be a "beta" (experimental but more-or-less usable) with some features not yet completed.

Kiwi Croquet is a computer simulation of the game of croquet for Windows PC's. It is free! This is version 3. There are LOTS of changes from version 2 so please read the documentation!
See the "ReadMe" for installation details. "KiwiCroquet" explains how to play. See the links below.
How do I get it?
Download the file "KC3_Setup.zip" using the link below. When you "run" this it will create the directory C:\KC3. In that will be placed KC3.exe (the program) plus some additional music files and a DeskTop icon to put on your Desktop. To play, double click on the Desktop icon or on KC3.exe. But PLEASE read the ReadMe.txt and KC3.txt files for details!
Please send me a message by email ( r.robinson@gns.cri.nz) if you download KC3 so I can judge the amount of interest and inform you of new versions. New versions will be posted here. You can access this web page from within KC3, on the Options page.
Please send information about any bugs you encounter! Also, any other suggestions.

Source Code:KC3 source code is available on request, under the terms of the GNU General Public License. KC3 was developed using MicroSoft Visual Studio 2008 and the VisualBasic.Net language. The source code might be useful to others if they have this development environment. There is much left "under the hood" by MicroSoft and not spelled out in the code. Still, for computer freaks it may be of interest. Send an email if you want it. As a Free Source advocate, I will send it. If you change the code and distribute it you must agree to the terms of the GNU license. I would be particularly interesed if anyone wants to improve the computer player logic.
