Stunt work is actually pretty simple when you get down to basics...and keep a few "minor" details in mind at all times.
1. The law of gravity is very strictly enforced on film
sets.
2. Fire is really hot!
3. Two solid objects are not capable of occupying the
same space...at the same time...while remaining "solid."
4. Objects in motion will stay in motion...until they
hit the most expensive thing on the set that you were told not to come
near.
5. For every action there is a reaction...and most of
them are not good.
6. All living things require oxygen in order to survive.
7. Automobiles, walls, floors, rocks, etc...are normally
composed of materials that are much more durable and resilient than those
making up the human body.
8. The word "ACTION" has the magical ability to make
car engines die.
9. The number of stunt people hustling your set declines
proportionally with the amount and weight of stunt gear that needs to be
wrapped at the end of the day.
