Day 1 the escape
Some where in a top secret facility somewhere
"Yes?" a man answers the phone
"Ah Doctor do you have the test results from the latest field trials on the X8T?"
There's a long pause then a heavy sigh>/p>
"There's a problem"
"What's gone wrong?"
"The X8T has gone sir."
"What do you mean gone?"
"It was in the Middle of the trials the it was performing well above our expectations and then it stopped. We initiated retrieval procedures the unit failed to respond. We Then sent a capture team to retrieve the unit."
"What happened to them?"
"There all dead sir the X8T killed them all."
"You mean we have no control what so ever over it?"
"It appears so sir"
Just then there is a knock at the doctors door.
"Hold on a minuet sir this might be news about the X8T. Yes Ms De Vires what is it?"
"Noo..." (a single sot is heard)
the line goes dead.
X8T will copy the head researchers appearance for later use, search his body taking his Id's, money and search the office for any other useful items such as wall safes etc if any I will destroy any thing to do with the project and take anything useful.
The next thing X8T will do is to destroy all the computers any files, disable the fire systems in the labs and set fire to the lab and all the offices.
"Security dispatch a detail to Omega sector immediately."
1 Hour later the phone rings again
"Security here "
"Report"
"The entire laboratory and its contents have been destroyed by fire sir there's bodies everywhere. The bodies will have to be identified by dental records."
"Any sign of who did it."
"We first thought it was Doctor Smith the head researcher, it walked right up to my security detail it killed most of my men before we could react. I Have just one question for you sir What the hell was that thing. I've never scene anything move that fast. Whatever it was its not human. My entire detail are all dead sir there all dead."
"Pull your self together man did you stop it"
"No sir we didn't."
Day 2 - 7 On the run
During these days X8T will travel in random directions random distances setting up random sightings to evade my pursuers. I stole a travel map and an English to French dictionary
Days 8- 14 The outskirts of Paris
X8T have found an abandoned factory on the outskirts of Paris which X8T am using to hide for a few days before entering Paris during this time X8T will study the English to French dictionary to get a basic understanding of the French language.
Day 15 Paris
X8T find itself walking around I a strange city, although I understand some of what people are saying my conversational skills are not quite up to standard I proceed in to a local bar and find a seat in the corner were I can watch the door I study the syntax of what’s is being said in the bar. A barmaid comes over and asks if I want anything to drink I decline. after about eight hours of study I get up and leave the bar and look for another and repeat the process.
My conversational skills are have improved since arriving in Paris the next bar I frequent seems to be quite a high class affair looking around the bar I notice 3 men that stick out like sore thumbs I assume that they are security of some description. As usual I will proceed to the corner with a view of the door and conduct a threat assessment. I notice a woman walk up to the bar tender and she says something to the bar tender my hearing catches "Who wants to know?" I sit there watching an listening intently and keeping an eye on the security men whom I don't trust.
