Let us join our hearts through these sacred Songs and Dances to celebrate our Unity with all  

 

From the beginning of time, sacred movement, song and story have brought people together - The Dances of Universal Peace are part of this timeless tradition. The Dances are a joyous, multi-cultural way to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and others. They use sacred phrases, chants, music and movements from the many traditions of the earth to promote peace and reverence for Life, honouring our essential Unity.

            Please join us for our annual dance week with world- renowned Dance leader and trainer Radha Tereska Buko accompanied by Alima Jeanne Ross (US).

 D          During this deepening retreat Radha and Alima will skillfully and gracefully lead us to the depths of the Dances of Universal Peace as a spiritual practice, as well as an interpersonal tool and a transpersonal vehicle for transformation. The retreat will offer an experience of the esoteric practices upon which the Dances are built – breath, mysticism of sound, concentration, body awareness, the walking meditations and the unity of religious ideals. 

             

              Radha brings experience in leading, training and mentoring of the Dances over many years teaching in numerous countries directing over 100 extended events and trainings. She is a founding member of the MTG and editor of the Foundation Dances and Walks manual. Her strength is in working intuitively and responsively to the group’s energy, needs and talents moving each individual toward an experience of wholeness within self and inter-connectedness with others.

 Alima is a mentor teacher and gifted musician who works closely with Radha. She was the project director for the 101 Foundation Dances CD recording. She offers musicianship and vocal training for Dancers and demonstrates deep attunement to sacred atmosphere

2 hours from Auckland , Mana is one of the most exquisite dance venues in the world, commanding amazing views of the Manaia harbour and the Coromandel ranges

 

 

Cost:  NZ$585 (DUPANZ members $565) (includes accommodation, linen, scrumptious organic meals and tuition). Non-residential and limited camping available: enquire Mana for costs.

This event is subsidized in part by a grant from Oneness Project USA , which has been included in the retreat cost.  Anyone requiring additional support to enable their attendance please enquire to Mana about the limited scholarships they have available.

The popularity of the Dances of Universal Peace continues to grow all around the world, bringing people of diverse faiths and races together to dance and sing songs, both reverent and joyful, originating from all the worlds’ spiritual traditions.  This weekend is open to all who love to dance in devotional circle with or without previous experience.  The techniques are simple and everyone is shown how to dance.  The essence of the dances is friendship, communion and love.
