Let us be grateful for the love of animals.

For they are the gardeners who make our souls blossom.

“Jimi”

I Still feel you breath on my skin

I still hear your bark from deep within

The memory of my companion, it's a feeling so strong

Deep in my heart, you will always belong

Even with your passing, you will never be away

Safe in my memory you will always stay ...

Thank you for your help

Please don't feel guilty or sad about me

It took lots of courage for you to set me free

Free at last from the pain that I felt

Now there’s peace, love and freedom

Thank you for your help

But know the one thing that saddens me no end

Is to watch you hurting my beloved friend

You did your best to put my pain to rest

Who could ask for more you are a true friend…

Rat

At

Memory

Because

Of our love for him

Haylee 8yrs old

I AM

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there I do not sleep

I am a thousand winds that blow

I am the diamond glints on snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle autumns rain

When you awaken in the mornings rush

I am the silent uplifting hush

Of coloured birds in circled flight

I am the stars that shine at night

Do not stand at my grave and cry

I am not there, I did not die….

I'm Glad You're In My Dash

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend

He referred to the dates on her tombstone

From the beginning to the end.

He noted that first came her date of birth

And spoke the following with tears,

But he said what mattered most was the dash between those years

1948-2003

For that dash represents all the  time

That she spent alive on earth…

And now only those who loved her

Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own;

The cars…the house…the cash,

What matters is how we live and love

And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard…

Are there things you’d like to change?

For you never know how much time is left, that can still be rearranged!

If we could just slow down enough

To consider what’s true and real,

And always try to understand

The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger,

And show appreciation more

And love the people  in our lives

Like we’ve never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect,

And more often wear a smile..

Remembering that this special dash

Might only last a while.

So, when your eulogy’s being read

With your life’s actions to rehash…

Would you be proud of the things they say

About how you spent your dash?
