Are you up to this cyberchallenge?

G'day G'day Folks,

Imagine you are my guardian angel and you perch on a shelf where you can comfortably and invisibly notice what is going on in my class room. Below you are 20 new adult students that I don't really know much about yet. The class has started into an exercise when a gentleman with a shaved head and tattoos says, "Do you think we are stupid or something?"

Huh??

 

I said something like, "In my experience students who make it this far academically are far from stupid. What happened that led you to think I might hold such an opinion, one quite contrary to my experience?"

"You wrote instructions on the board."

(So there it is, a complex equivalent.
"Writing instructions on the board means I think this class is stupid.)

 

Well my guardian angels, what comes next?
