Water Colour Illustration from Dragor by Pat Quinn, published by Scholastic NZ Ltd 2000.How can I resist it, but from using the obvious to stretching the imagination, that's me as an illustrator in New Zealand. I haven't written my own books yet, but interpret stories by other authors. I have a range of styles but tend toward the humorous. My cocker spaniel and I think cows should have long ears (strange looks from the dog), but don't worry I do follow artists briefs...and meet publishers deadlines!

I have bookshelves of educational readers and some picture books which I have illustrated, mainly for New Zealand publishers, but also a few Australian and American publishers. Fax and courier systems have worked well.

I have eighteen years of experience freelancing, but have also worked for Television New Zealand as graphic designer and as illustrator for Children's programmes. Studied at Wellington Polytechnic School of Design.
