Made
of Engleman Spruce and Mahogany A large guitar with a big sound built
for finger style recording. Heel depth 95 mm (3 3/4 in) tail block depth 115
mm (4 1/2 in). Scale length is 640 mm (25 1/4 in) with a venetian cutaway and
rosewood fingerboard, binding and bridge. It has a dovetail neck joint with
the rosette made from segments of rewa rewa, an ornamental New Zealand wood.
The instrument has a bound headstock with paua inlay and neck dots. Bone intonated
saddle and nut. The guitar pictured below was nicknamed 'Suzie' by her Canadian
owner
