Points of note... the sparco strut
brace...and the K&N air filter.
The K&N fits in the standard
airbox.. it's cheaper to buy and has longer service intervals than the original
one.
The only things that have gone
wrong.. <fingers crossed> are...
- A plastic lug snapped off the
bottom of the clutch cable rendering the whole item completely useless..
it only took two days for a new one to arrive.. which is great by
New Zealand standards as nobody seems to want to admit to being a Rover
dealer these days!
- Flat battery.. it died waiting
for the clutch cable to arrive <no joke>
- The rubber pipe between the
intercooler and the injection unit <or at least i think that's what it
is!> keeps blowing/sucking off.. whichever one it is... it's bloody annoying!
Any clues as to why it's doing it...??? email
me!
- All the fluids were drained
at it's first known service... most of them resembled chip pan fat.. but
more to the point... it was probably cheap wok oil
