There's Only One Um!!

Wellington City Council has just increased the fees for parking through out the city. Some areas have gone from $2 per hour to $4 per hour. (An increase of 100%!!) Other areas have gone from $3 to $4 per hour.    If the company I work for was to increase charges by this percentage I would soon be out of a job.   At least the parking wardens seem to be taking it easy for the moment, but I'm sure that won't last.
