Orangefarm are a band in Wellington, New Zealand, consisting of (in ascending height order) Vivien Reid, Simon Waterfield, Peter Holm, and Nigel Mitchell.
This site includes some nice pictures of these people, of whom you have never heard. We would like to feel that once you have seen pictures of us, you will know what we look like. For those with an insatiable lust for knowledge, there is a three paragraph history as well.
Our most recent project has been a collaboration with a new dance company, Instinctive, who have choreographed six Orangefarm songs. This show was called 'Taking the Pith' and played to appreciative audiences, not all of whom were friends of the band or dancers. The show was presented as a workshop for a possible fuller production in 2003, and was supported with a grant by the Wellington City Council.
Orangefarm's four-song EP called 'Joined at the Hip' is available from this site and selected retailers. A track called '33' can be heard via MP3.com.
