Hello, I'm John Bartlett, (JB) and I live in Christchurch, the 3rd largest city in New Zealand. I am married with three adult children and five grandchildren as as well.

I work for the National Library of New Zealand as Coordinator, Curriculum Information Service, South where I manage a team of library staff providing educational resources to school teachers and pupils throughout the South Island of New Zealand.

My wife Glenys and I have always been interested in wine and food, and we keep a Modest cellar of usually around 50 - 70 bottles or so: we prefer to "drink it" rather than keep it.

We attend wine tastings at Cellarmasters and other venues regularly, but mostly enjoy sharing a bottle of two with friends when ever we can. Here's some of the most Recent Tastings we have attended.

The idea for this website came from sorting out my wine-related favourites into some sort of order: I thought sharing these with others would be a good idea, and so NZ Winelinks was born.

I hope you find my site useful in your quest for information on New Zealand wines, and I look forward to adding your sites and hearing your comments.
