if it gets to 9 or more and we can compare notes to decide whether to go to dark sky with cameras..
I understand that 7 or more is possible from dark sky at this latitude)
Check the weather: clouds, isobars.. plan the next 6~12 hours...
Clouds from space, rain from NZ rain radars, isobars from Pacific
data, visible picture of planet earth from space
