Queenstown is located in the southern South Island. Situated on beautiful Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is regarded by many as the thrill-seeking capital of the world.
Go on the famous Shotover Jet, or skiing at the various ski fields in the area. There's bungy jumping, paragliding, white-water rafting, luging, and much more. For the more weak-hearted, there's a huge amount of less thrill-seeking attractions, quality shopping, fabulous dining and breath-taking scenery, and you can stay at one of the many luxurious hotels.
