 TEA FOR TWO
Materials:
Fontana Superquick or Fontana Quicknit or Fontana Caprice, with Courtelle.
Wool required: Green - 2 ozs Brown and Yellow - 1 oz each. 1 pr. No. 10 Knitting needles. Crochet hook.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS: B, brown, Y, yellow, G, green.

Using B, cast on 57 sts and work 3 rows in k1, p1 rib.
Join on contrast shades.
1st row: Using G, k3 (using B double, K1, w.o.n. k1, w.o.n. k1, k5 G) 6 times, using B, k1, w.o.n., k1, w.o.n. k1, k3 G.
2nd row: P3 G. (sl 3 B from previous row, dropping off loops, p5 G) 6 times, sl 3 B, p3 G.
3rd row: K1 G, (miss 2 sts. k1, then k2 missed sts, s.1 B, drop off next st. k2, pick up and k dropped stitch, k1) 7 times.
4th row: P 4 G, (sl 1. p7) 6 times, sl 1, p 4.
5th row: K in G.
6th row: P in G.
7th row: As 1st row, but use Y double instead of B.
8th to 12th rows: As 2nd to 6th rows.
Repeat these 12 rows twice, then first 6 rows once. Change to B.
1st Row: K 1, (k2 tog, k3, k2 tog. k1) rep. to end.
2nd row: P.
3rd row: K.
4th row: P.
5th row: (K1, K2 tog.) rep to last st, k1
6th row: P.
7th row: K.
8th row: P.
9th row: K2 tog. to last st. k1.
10th row: P.
11th row: K.
12th row: P2 tog. to last st. P 1.
Break off wool and thread through sts.
Make another piece the same.

CROCHET FLOWERS: 3 ch, join in ring. Work 3 ch, 1 tr, 3 ch, 1 dc in ring. Repeat 3 times. Break off wool. Make 3 flowers in G and 3 in Y. With double B wool crochet chain about 4 1/2 ins. long for loop.

TO MAKE UP: Join up sides of cosy leaving openings for handle and spout. Attach flowers and loop to top.
