Spearhead & Modern Spearhead Scenario Generation System 


Background:  

The following rules and supporting material is designed to generate scenario style games games without formal scenario development. 

The aim is not to replace scenario games, but rather allow World War II Spearhead and Modern Spearhead games to be played where scenario development is not possible due to time constraints or lack of forces. One significant advantage of the system is that a player can build and use an initial army then, as his collection increases, add various additional options.

The system is designed to produce reinforced battlegroup scenarios which are playable in around three to four hours.

The Core System:
Scenario Generation System   The core Scenario Generation System which includes a terrain generation system, rules for organising armies and the development of a scenarios for both World War II Spearhead and Modern Spearhead. It includes points values for several nations. 
 

World War II Spearhead:

Spearhead Clarifications File A clarification file that defines a number of general clarifications for using Spearhead.
TO&E Amendments for 1944 Amendments for the base Spearhead TO&E provided as a guide for players and useful for competition organisers.

 

 

Modern Spearhead:

Czechoslovakian Additional points values for Czechoslovakian equipment contained in the Czechoslovakian datacard
 

Sample Army Lists

Soviet 1984 Regimental and Divisional assets for a Soviet Motor Rifle Division.

Future additions will include additional TO&E guidelines and, in time, other historical TO&Es to provide additional variety.
