The Macedonian & Punic Wars

Background

Some years ago I ran a successful Ancients campaign, set generally within the period of the Macedonian and Punic Wars. The campaign covered the major and minor powers from the independent Spainish provinces in the West to the Seleucid Empire in the east. Included of course were Carthage and Rome and the Gallic tribes of Northern Italy. The actual campaign was computer moderated using Richard Bodley-Scotts PBM Umpire system.

The campaign scenario rules and legal move list as well as the campaign map in MS Excel format are all available for those intersted in additional information. I have however not uploaded the actual PBM Umpire computer files as one day I may well restart another campaign.

A number of the resulting battles were refought on the tabletop using the then popular "De Bellis Multiunidus" (DBM) rules. A selection of battle reports from the campaign follow:
