google: IMHO, the best search engine on the net. I've found Google to be a lot more efficient and friendly than AltaVista (my previous search engine of choice), but YMMV.
editplus: EditPlus is a very nice customisable text editor for Windows. I use EditPlus to edit the code for this site.
