The Complete Retard's Guide to the English Language #3 (14 March, 2001)
This is undoubtedly the biggest and most self-effacing blunder I've ever
made in a cartoon. At the time, I was so stoked to get feedback on my cartoon
(even if it was from a friend and fellow cartoonist) that I didn't
spot it until almost two weeks later. If you don't know what I'm talking
about, ‘crêche’ has an e grave (cr èche),
not a
circumflex! I guess that was kind of Andrew's fault, but I still didn't pick up
on it, and now I'll look like a fool.
That said, the rest of the cartoon is still valid, so I'll let it stand as a
monument to how incredibly stupid I am.
