The apostrophe is probably the most misused punctuation mark there is. Sure,
people are useless with semicolons and commas too, but that comes from a basic
failure to understand their respective functions. I'll be talking about this
in a future strip, but basically the apostrophe strip was the main reason I
started CRGttEL in the first place.
I'm not the first cartoonist to get picky about apostrophes, either. Check out
