Kneadatite Sculpting Putty - Green Stuff $14 If you're serious about sculpting and normally use a regular bi-colour strip putty (such as citadel's or ebob's sculpting putty) you will be familiar with the problem of flaking.
When two part epoxy is delivered in strip form, the centre of the strip where the two colours meet will have cured by the time you get it. You won't notice while mixing the stuff, as the cured section is very smll, but tiny flakes of cured putty will rise to the surface of your sculpt. You'll never get a smooth surface using putty like this.
Keeping your putty in the freezer will help, but you can gaurantee the stuff will have sat around curing at room temperature for a few months before you get hold of it. The only way to prevent this problem is to cut the centre section out of your strip putty and throw it away. This putty's not exactly cheap, and I hate throwing anything away!
Now you needn't worry about wasting expensive sculpting media or flakes in your finished sculpt.
This is green kneadatite by Polymeric Systems Inc, better known as green stuff, the same substance as sold by other third parties as a bi-colour strip, but available as two seperate lumps. No curing, no wastage, and a neat little plastic box to keep it in.
This pack contains the same amount of putty by mass as the typical 6" strips sold by citadel, ebob et cetera (approximately 16.6g) but there will be no waste, and your finished sculpts should be far superior to those done with strip putty.Basing / Diorama materials $2 per bag Any three bags $5 Why buy huge sacking of grass, flock and so on that you're never going to use?
