Vincent Van Gogh was a very famous artist. He was born on the 30^th of March 1853 in the northern parts of the Netherlands. This was where he spent the first 16 years of his life.

In May 1873 20 year old Vincent arrived in England he was a painter and he was mad. He cut off his ear and then committed suicide but before he passed away he painted a picture called sunflowers this is what it looks like.
