Business on Film produce websites incorporating short video clips of the client's business. My involvement includes converting the videos to a streamable format (flash video) and putting images, video and text together into a website, or liasing with the client's existing website provider.
Visualives is a private social networking website where members introduce themselves via short video clips. I produced the members' area using the Drupal content management system and built the promotional site based on a supplied design. My responsibilites include site maintenance, administration, monitoring and development.
In 2003 WRONZ became Canesis and the challenge was to produce a new website which consolidated and updated the information from the previous sites and presented it in line with the new corporate image, at relatively short notice. I was presented with an outsourced design for the frontpage which had been developed with the other rebranding materials, and developed the rest of the site structure from there.
At the end of 2006 Canesis was purchased and subsumed by Agresearch.
The New Zealand Meat Merino Group was established as a joint venture between Canesis and two farming partners. I was tasked with designing the original print brochures and later converting this material for a website, maintenance of which then became my responsibility.
Wool Research is a shareholder in Canesis. One year they wanted a website made duplicating some of the content from their Annual Report. This was also my first attempt at table-less layout.
Serena Jensen (just 16 years old) is one of 20 New Zealand Highland
Dancers to be selected to dance at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland
this August. She will perform before the Queen at this historical and prestigious
event.
Through her sister, I took on the task of providing Serena with a personal website for promotional purposes. For me this is something of a portfolio job, while supporting one of NZ's rising stars.
WebKnight is my still-in-draft self-promotion site. I am gainfully employed at present so development is kind of on the back-burner.
