Our love of Roses has been a lifetime romance,and we have planted many bushes in
various properties we have owned ,over the years,leaving over 200 bushes at our
last property. We have established our Rose garden now at our present home and
for the first time in our life have become active members of our local Rose Society. We have also entered the show scene and to date have been very successful . Last year we entered our first National show and were pleased with our two placings pictured on our page. I have 2 very favourite Roses, Just Joey and Abraham Derby and my husbands favourite is another David Austin. R.D.Braithwaite. Our other interest is growing seedlings and our aim is to have one named after each of our nine grandchildren. We have two already RACHEL ANNA (which Rachel won a first prize in the Novice section at our local show) and TONI MADELENE, a pretty pink, now planted in Toni`s garden for her to watch it grow.SHANNON we grew from a cutting for our grandson. |
