I bought my 1984 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GTV in 2001 for $3300 NZD. This is a genuine JDM AE86 which arrived in Christchurch, New Zealand in August 1991 with a mere 55,000 Km on the clock. I purchased it 5 owners later with 230,000 Km on the clock in December 2001. The car has been well looked after as far as I can tell but with such high km's pretty much everything is due to be replaced. I was lucky enough to purchase the car with a few modifications already made, including the current SSR wheels which, after a $400 NZD recondition came up like new.
