Leisa came home to Kelbryn in September 2002. Thank you to Ann Deane ("Lochlea") and family - especially Michael, Katie & Elizabeth - for giving us this opportunity to enjoy Leisa's company and to show her off to the corgi fraternity. Although she never learnt how to stand still on the table (with the judges, on approaching the table, suddenly finding this dog wrapped around their neck giving slurpy kisses) Leisa finished her Championship with some nice Best of Breed, 'class in Group' and Specialty Best on Parade wins. Congratulations to Leisa's co-breeder, Janet Edwards ("Critterlodge"), on her first home-bred Champion, and a big Thank You for doing such a great job rearing Leisa and her 10 siblings. Leisa produced her much anticipated litter, by Aust Ch ANWYL PARIS MATCH, ( Matty )in February 2005; 7 beautiful babies - 3 boys (2 r/w, 1 tri) & 4 girls (1 r/w, 3 tri), including 2 little bobtail girls. Her red & white son NZ CH K. MAN-O-THE-MATCH ( Harley ) made a great start to his show career thanks to the able handling of his co-owner Joy Macaulay ("Glenmac") and completed his title campaign on his return to Kelbryn. |
