I gestured with my camera to a farmer who was tending his padi. He waved me that it was okay to come closer and take a picture. He politely declined to accept any payment for his modelling.

A nice home in Balinese architectural style. Typical of the houses of more well-off people, this had internal courtyards and gardens. The truncated left roof-line is to avoid intruding into a neighbour's property. Wealthy people are to contribute to the arts and crafts community by commissioning domestic sculptures, carving, weaving, etc.
