Alcohol is strictly forbidden in the Islamic Republic, so most
socialising is done over a pot of sweet tea and a qalyan, or
water-pipe. And that's just tobacco, before you get the wrong
idea.
These gentlemen are having a puff at at tea shop above Esfahan's bazaar,
overlooking Imam Square and its stunning 17th-century mosques.
