The Southland Natural History Field Club has members interested in learning about the plants, insects, birds, rocks etc of Southland, in exploring natural places and collecting data relating to natural history in surveys and fieldtrips.
It meets once a month in Southland Museum (usually on every second Thursday of the month) followed by a weekend field trip, often on the same topic as the talk.
If you are interested in becoming a member it costs $20 per year ($25 for a family) and you will receive the monthly newsletter and programme of trips.
